Fancy pasta decorations

Nothing says christmas like… PASTA! Ok that’s not true but seriously, these beauties look fit to adorn even the fanciest of Christmas trees. Maybe just don’t tell anyone they’re made from cardboard and carbs.

What you need:

  • Thick cardboard

  • Craft glue

  • Various types of pasts

  • Gold spray paint (optional)

  • Coloured paints

  • String

To Make:

1. Cut out a series of simple shapes from the cardboard.

3. Create a design using pasta shapes. Try to cover the whole surface,

2. Cover the surface with a thick-ish layer of glue.

4. Experiment with lots of shapes and patterns!

Decorating:

1. Spray paint your dried ornaments with a coat of gold spray paint. This is optional but I recommend it for a great finish.

2. Next, highlight different shapes using coloured paint and/or paint pens. To finish, make a small hole in each and add some fancy string.
